Kindergarten is an extension of our pre-school program. It is an important time for your child. We primarily focus that your child learns how to socialize with other children and how it affects their academic experience moving forward.

Our program will expose your child to math, science, reading and art. The program allows our teachers to take the time to introduce these subjects in a fun and interesting way. Your child will learn to count objects and progressively graduate to the basics of arithmetic. Many times, lessons are introduced and taught in exciting games and activities to engage the children.

Teachers and our community volunteers and leaders will read to your child encouraging reading and literacy. Additionally, your child will learn to write and practice the importance of neat penmanship.

Your child will also be acquainted with science and nature during his/her days at kindergarten. Learning about nature, animals and trees that they would normally read in books is a fun way to teach children about the world around them. Sometimes, we even bring the traveling farm to them.

Field trips (with parental consent) to places like zoos during the course of the year are common as well in our kindergarten program.

Recess and breaks are very common at this level of education. Our program will challenge and motivate your child to learn, while at the same time allowing him to still be a child and have fun.
